I am a senior and as a result I have negatives, black & white, and color pictures of all different sizes. I looked for a service to handle the 1000's of images I wanted to scan but could not find a service that would do it at a reasonable cost. I decided to look at scanners and came across the Epson V300. The software allowed me to scan as many pictures as I could fit on the scanning surface. I was allowed to modify each picture as to size, contrast, brightness, and color. It even eliminated dust embedded in the surface of some of my oldest pictures. I could focus on the best part of some of my mothers old damaged black & white pictures with excellent results. All the scanned pictures were clear and generally improved from the original. I had planned to sell the scanner after I was done, but I decided to us it as my copier. Any written documents, or pictures are now archived on my hard drive which I can print out if a copy is needed.Customer Review: Made Mom Happy!

Overall am quite pleased with the V300. Looking back I should have purchased the V500 to enable medium format scanning. If you only want to scan 35 mm negatives this will work great.Customer Review: Good Value for home use

I've scanned over 500 old 35mm slides in the first week I've had it and it's performed perfectly. The software works great with Windows 7. You can't it beat for the price.
